Hi all. Well it's day two and things are going well. Abbi is looking good and they are thinking that they might take out the painful
sternal drain and the LAP line( left atrial pressure), which is inside the atrial chamber itself. It monitors the actual blood pressure in the atrium itself. They say that they want to try to move her into a ward bed by tonight, but we will see. It's a bit more stress for us, but a bit less for her and that's the important part. More stressful for us because our involvement in her treatment elevates at that point. They will be trying to get her moving around and she will be wanting to be free of all of the monitor lines and things. Holly and I, my Mom and Abbi's "gammy" have found a good bedside
rotation schedule and it has minimized a bit of the fatigue of being in the hospital at a bedside.
Holly will update later.
Rob.
Thanks for your updates! God is good! So happy things are going well!
