Day #5, 6 & 7 - Photo Recap

I thought I would do photo recap of
"A Day in the Life...at the Hospital"

I wish it were A Day in the Life...on the beach or in Hawaii. But alas, a day in the life - at the hospital!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to upload pictures for a few days, so this is a bit past tense now, but I thought people might enjoy seeing what kept our days so busy while we were there.

7:00am
Morning snuggle with Mommy

8:00am.
Gammy stops by. With coffee for Mommy! Hooray!

8:00-9:00am.
Morning Dora viewing

9:00-9:30am.
Lies in bed looking quite saddened by the end of Dora viewing...

9:30am.

Cardiology rounds. Perhaps not as "sexy" as the rounds one sees on Grey's Anatomy, but rounds nonetheless. They were all quite excited that I was taking their picture. This was actually a fairly small group. I'd say there was usually about 5 more people than what you see here.

9:45am.
Blood work. Again, more Dora viewing. Good distraction from blood work.

9:45-10:30am
Read the ladybug book with Gammy

10:30-11:00am.
Look adorable despite those silly oxygen nose prongs!

11:00am-12:00pm.
Go for post-op/discharge echocardiogram. The best part? The TV hung above the bed that she got to watch Barney on.

12:00-12:30pm.
Lunch time at the window. Train watching, of course!

Vital checks by Nurse Dusty (Our favorite nurse on the ward. She was awesome with Abbi). I love, love, love the second picture here. You could tell they were starting to be friends, or maybe it was because Dusty let Abbi put the dreaded blood pressure cuff on her!

12:45pm.

1:00pm.
First steps...

1:30-3:00pm.
Play time at The Beach

3:00pm-5:00pm.
Nap time. Or Dora viewing (sorry no pictures)
5:00-5:45pm.
Dinner time (sorry no pictures).

5:45pm.
More train watching. This time with Daddy
6:00pm-7:00pm.
Disney bingo night at The Beach. So cool!
Abbi picking out her prize. She picked out a Bob The Builder activity book.

7:00-8:00pm.
Evening snuggle with Daddy and Gabe.

Then we wait for our evening meds and vital check (between 8:00-10:00pm), and then its time for bed. Whew, long days, but all filled with generally good things and us heading in the right direction...home!
