Yes, its true. I have my own personal Yogi. Well, not entirely, you can have him too, but I do thoroughly appreciate my daily doses of Yogi and thought I would share him with cha'll.
Behold, my Yogi.
I was introduced to Yogi Tea while working at the foster care agency. Every afternoon I would hear what lovelies the Yogi had to share with the girls. Because you see, every tea bag has a different little bit of wisdom that the Yogi wants to share with you. This was mine this morning, and I thought it was quite nice of Yogi. Quite nice indeed.
I'm giving up coffee to help with the cleanse. I'd like to get the place where I can enjoy it occasionally, but not get headaches and go through withdrawal on days that I don't. So this time I finally wised up after many bad attempts at giving up the sacred beverage (eg. go cold turkey). I slowly reduced the amount down from 4 cups to 2 cups. To 1 cup. To nothing. Then on that day I had some green tea (just a different type of caffeine). And then nothing. And miraculously...I'm surviving!
The problem is that this is my last bag of this type of Yogi tea. I found it in the Cheese Warehouse while we were in Saskatoon a few weeks ago. But I every store that I go into that sells this tea, I haven't seen it. So this is a near emergency. If any of you lovely readers know of a store that sells this type Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut, please let me know!
In other news, I'm thinking of ending this whole private blog thing. I know, I know. It was kind of like a cool exclusive club, but I have been hearing of quite a few problems logging in or people wanting to read my blog but can't anymore. And well, I do realize the signing up for a gmail account and yada yada is a bit of work. Of course if you are reading this, you have already jumped through the appropriate hoops to continue reading my blog, and I thank you for that!
I know what you are thinking. What about random men in India stealing pictures of your children? I know, that was the main reason for going private, but I'm thinking that I just forego the blog parties I should be much more hacker free. By joining those parties I would sometimes get around 500 hits in one day, and they came from all over the world. And I don't think that everyone was interested in home decor. So if I refrain from those parties, my readership will be much more directed, and likely more people that I know.
Any thoughts? Votes, yay or nay?
Reading your blog gives me great amusement which is much needed at work.
ReplyDeleteYes I say try to publicize your blog. I think I need to get me some Yogi!
I randomly found Yogi at Shoppers Drug mart (or maybe it was London Drugs...they are the same in my mind...). Fond memories of the Yogi. He was sometimes a little bit of sunshine, sometimes he made me roll my eyes, but the anticipation of the little message written on my tea bag...such a treat.
