Stop Thief!

I found out yesterday that a man in India named Sailesh Kavathiya has been copying and pasteing my blog posts, and then putting them on his blog. Not just mine, but many other bloggers have also been affected by this.

I only found this out because one of my fellow bloggers somehow linked to his site and found her most recent post on there. And then mine. And then someone else's. And it just continued. This guy has been doing this since 2006, all with other people's content. The website was shut down this afternoon by much protest from all of the affected bloggers, as well as many e-mails to his blog provider.

Many, if not all of my posts were on his site. He used the same blog categories that I use on my blog. My life. My posts. My pictures. Info about my kids. My family. Are you creeped out, because I sure am...

So anyway, this has rocked my blogging world. I am considering moving to an "invite only" blog after this episode. Hard to believe that someone took my stuff and used it for their own gain. I'm just a speck in the world of blogging. I still haven't officially decided if I will yet, but I guess the hard part is knowing who reads your blog and would stick with you through something like this.

So I was hoping those who do read this, enjoy this, and would like to continue reading our blog might just post their first name in the comment section. I should likely know who you are, and then can send you an invite. Or feel free to e-mail me your info.

But yeah, seriously creepy...
