Update

I just wanted to let people know that Baby Grady was born yesterday morning. I am updating from a Care Page website, so I don't have all the information, but it seems like everything went as planned. He was transferred to the Stollery hospital and is now in the NICU. He will likely have the first of the three-staged surgeries within the next week. Its called the Norwood.

The pastor's niece went in for her heart surgery yesterday (no cancellations!). It went well, as planned, and is now recovering. So good news all around. She will be recovering in the PICU (once they are over 29 days old, they move to the PICU), so not the same ward.

Tonight I plan to go see the Mom, who is still recovering at a different hospital (its definitely odd how they do that here. You deliver in one hospital, and then the baby is transferred to the children's hospital). Then tomorrow morning we have an appointment at the Stollery for Gabe (6 month check up), so we will pop in on that end of things!
