The Heart of Life.

Egads, I missed Thursday! I know you've all been sitting at your computers with a trail of drool coming from one corner of your mouth, patiently waiting. It was full day, so that's my excuse. Friday will also be quite full, but I wanted to quickly put up these song lyrics by John Mayer. I love John Mayer. His music always reminds me of the time I moved out for 4 short months and lived with two girlfriends. The one friend (who was actually more my friend than the other girl) would often have John Mayer tunes wafting out of her room. So it brings back many happy memories from that time.

This song is so true, and I just appreciate the sentiment. The heart of life is good. And it is good. I have to say, I've had a spectacular week. Why? I can't really say actually. Its just been so good. I feel refreshed, encouraged, excited. I feel good. So I can attest to the fact that this life is good. Enjoy it while you can. 'Ol Johnny and I seem to think similarly on the subject...

"The Heart Of Life" by John Mayer

I hate to see you cry
Lying there in that position
There's things you need to hear
So turn off your tears
And listen

Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good

You know, it's nothing new
Bad news never had good timing
Then, circle of your friends
Will defend the silver lining

Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good

Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
Fear is a friend who's misunderstood
But I know the heart of life is good
I know it's good

I hope you too can find a reason today to enjoy the heart of life, and all the good that comes with it. Don't get me wrong, there's always plenty of junk, but even more good.

PS. And in closing, I thought I would include another classic bum shot...just for you Katrina! Abbi's panties this morning are hiked up to unprecedented heights.
