Yup, Christmas! Maybe not in your house yet, but definitely in mine! We got to it early this year, just because this upcoming weekend, and basically every weekend between now and Christmas is BUSY!
I bought these green bins at the end of the season last year from Zellers. I was tired of boxes, and I most especially like having my Christmas things color coded. I "only" have 4 bins. Now I know this might be a lot to some of you, but one family that we know...well, the Mom had 20-something bins at one point in their life (and I must say, their house is MAGICAL at Christmastime). So I always try to compare my Christmas stash to theirs (which makes mine seem rather minimal).
And I must vouch for how beautifully and tenderly they are packed up at the end of the season. I always find that one of the saddest days of the year, as I do love my Christmas decor. But just by looking at these pics, I'm sure you can imagine who's excited little fingers got in there...
Next comes the "how to properly hang Christmas tree lights" speech. Rob has an enthralled audience.
This is what happens when the munchkins get ahead of Mommy in the decorating...
*Take note of the excessive amount of needles? Isn't that the point of a fake tree...no needles?
Abbi got to put the star on top with Daddy. She was very proud.
I just got out my Christmas boxes yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI love the man to man talk about hanging lights. Aaron gets a bit picky about that around here. I just know to steer clear of that...it's a man's job:o)
